Sean Brown is an entrepreneur, tattooer, educator, and regulatory compliance expert with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of tattooing, manufacturing, safety, and ethics. Tattooing since 1999, Sean has built a career rooted in technical mastery, systems thinking, and a deep commitment to responsibility within the industry.

He is the founder of multiple tattoo-industry ventures, including Republic Tattoo Supply and the Tattoo Industry Manufacturers Alliance, and co-founder of Ever After Pigments. His leadership background includes serving as General Manager of Eternal Ink and Director of Product Regulatory Compliance for Nexus Brands Group, where he oversaw FDA-related affairs, ISO systems, product safety, and manufacturing compliance.

Since 2008, Sean has specialized in restorative areola tattooing. For five consecutive years, he provided this work entirely free of charge after recognizing that financial barriers were preventing many breast cancer survivors from completing their healing journey. This experience shaped his survivor-first philosophy and trauma-informed approach, blending compassion with clinical precision.
